Born in Cork in 1976, Sean Wallace grew up in the Northside of the City, attending first Scoil Iosagain Primary school, then Farranferris Diocesan Seminary and finally University College Cork. Graduating with honours in Arts and later completing a higher diploma in software engineering. Following some years working in various locations around Ireland he returned to Cork, and co-founded egomotion films with Daniel O'Connell in Easter 2006. Since then he has produced numerous short films, and seen three screened in the Cork Film Festival '06, '07 and '08 and other festivals in Ireland. He has also provided music for "My Ball" directed by Kevin O'Neill. 2008 also saw the launch of the feature length documentary "Rock with your Cork Out" as Part of the Cork Film Festival. The documentary features Irish and Cork Rock bands in candid interviews and features live footage and music from those bands. Sean Wallace lives quietly in Cork City with his wife and two children.
