After the making of Deep River , which was shot and edited by Executive Producer Joey Salomone, Scott decided that he would handle virtually all the major jobs on his next film (2010s Paragon). He wrote, produced, cast, shot and directed the film, with producer and cast member Drew N. Martin handling editing chores.

Made his first film ("Deep River") at the age of 36 years old, followed two years later by his breakthrough film Paragon, in 2009, followed in 2013 by Paragon II, and in 2014 by the pro wrestling documentary Wrestless: The MPW Documentary. In 2015, Scott will make the Crime Noir thriller The Mercy House Split.

Scotts first screenplay ("Deep River") was written as an experiment inspired by a book of scripts by Quentin Tarantino. He has been writing in various mediums since he was 12 years old. Deep River took eight years to complete (1995-2003) and was made into a film in the summer of 2007.

Scott is the founder of Creative Threat Films, LLC., and runs the company along with webmaster/art director Josh Shelby.

As of Spring 2015, Scott is working on the film The Mercy House Split, with the intentions of a 2017 release. He wrote the original screenplay in 2002-03, inspired by the works of James Ellroy, Jim Thompson, and Harlan Ellison.

Kessler created a micro-budget superhero franchise with Paragon , and its sequel Paragon II. He intends to return to the world of Augustus "Paragon" Carr with either Paragon III , or a Paragon web series on YouTube. In either case, Steve Williams will return as Carr, but the rest of the cast is uncertain.
