Samson Gershon Polyakov was born in Vitebsk in Belorussia. Samson studied and finished a Masters degree as a Journalist in National University of Belorussia. Samson started his career as a Journalist in big Belorussian newspaper called "Zname Unosti" and then moved on to a executive position of the cultural department of the newspaper. Further on Samson quit his work at the newspaper and continued his career by starting to work as a Screen Play reviewer at the "Belorus Film" studios. Further Samson started writing screen plays for large and documentary films, when the most famous of them were "Farewell of a Slav Woman", "Pani Mariya" and "Black Bereza". At 2001 Samson has retired and moved from Belorussia to Israel to join his daughter and grandchildren were he remained till his death.
