In 2009 Sam graduated with an MA in Cinematography from the UK's National Film & Television School . Within a year of graduating his short film, 'Connect', directed by Samuel Abrahams, was BAFTA nominated, and his critically acclaimed feature, 'In Our Name', was officially selected at the BFI London Film Festival and BIFA nominated. In the same year Sam was chosen by BAFTA as a "Brit to Watch" He went on to shoot BFI funded feature film 'Couple in a Hole' directed by Tom Geens, which won 3 awards at the Dinard British Film Festival 2015, including the Golden Hitchcock. He recently completed 'The Tunnel: Vengeance' for Sky / Kudos directed by French film-maker Gilles Bannier, with whom he also shot 'In The Dark' for BBC. In 2017 Sam's critically acclaimed TV mini series 'Born To Kill' was released for Channel 4 / World Productions as well as his latest feature film, WW2 drama 'Another Mother's Son' for Bill Kenwright Films. Sam is London based but continues to shoot film, television and commercials worldwide.
