Biography

Texas native Ryan Dickie is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn NY. After graduating from Savannah College of Art and Design, he began award winning freelance cinematography and editing work for Gulfstream Aerospace while writing and directing narrative and experimental short films on his own time. After moving to New York, he became a founding member of One Thousand Percent Productions, shooting and editing content for Vogue, Google, Nike and many others. During that time he lensed a number of short films that premiered at Sundance, SXSW, Rotterdam, VisionFest NYC and Expresión en Corto Film Festival among others. Last year, he directed his first commercial campaign for Seattle's Best Coffee as well as music videos for Sufjan Stevens and Helado Negro. Ryan recently completed his first crowd funded, long form short film, WINNERS, which premiered in New York at the Williamsburg Independent Film Festival and won the Spirit Award. In 2015 he plans to release the film online, co-direct two music videos and a short film with frequent collaborator Abigail Horton and develop his first feature-length film. He loves movies and hot sauce more than just about anything.
