German actress
German character comedienne of the 1950s and 60s, a former bank teller. She came to films in 1951 via the legitimate stage and cabaret in Hamburg, Munich and Berlin. She was usually seen in garrulous or gossipy roles, as secretaries or wives, often starring alongside comic actors like Heinz Erhardt or Rudolf Vogel.
