Roy Wang is a Chinese singer and a member of the teen idol group, TFboys, which debuted on August 6, 2013. Before the debut of the 3 persons group, he was a trainee of TF Family under TF Entertainment since 2011. Roy is one of China's most influential teenagers with millions of followers on Weibo. He appears in many television channel variety shows, festival special programs, movies, and dramas. Roy also holds roles as charity ambassadors and has a number of commercial endorsements.
He wrote his first song (music and lyrics) "Because I Met You" when he was 14, the song was first showcased live during his 15th birthday concert.
He had a pet Poodle, called Du Du, which he took to work-related functions often and shared many stories with on his Weibo account. But due to Roys busy work schedule, Du Du was given away.
Roy represented China at the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum 2017 in UN New York headquarters, in which he has given a short speech about equal access to quality education.
