When it comes to filmmaking, Ross Gabriel Sebek literally makes ideas come to life. With a distinctive artistic vision, he is known for a lighting style which has the naturalism of a documentary and the polish of a commercial production. Ross discovered his attraction to film and video production early on, and by the time he was in Jr. High School, he'd started working at the local television studio. Having spent over half of his life working with cameras, cinematography is now as much a part of his instincts, as it is a part of his thought process. Although he has a strong background in working with film cameras, Ross has adapted with the digital transition and is now known as an expert with digital formats. His specialties include moving camera, lighting design, shooting cinematic video and skillfully conducting the technical side of a narrative set, with great efficiency and artistry. When he can find the time to break away from work, Ross can be found hiking, snowboarding, practicing Kung Fu, playing music, and shooting still photography. As a somewhat unique, passionate, and fun personality, Ross has great command over his people skills, always maintains a professional demeanor and keeps his head regardless of how challenging a situation may appear. Ross is an active member of the International Cinematographers Guild and he is classified as a local IATSE Director of Photography in both New York City and Atlanta, GA, where he continues to build his reputation as a passionate, creative professional.
