Biography

Born in India, Roopashree Jeevaji became involved with acting at a young age. From the time she was three, she trained in Bharatanatyam . She a also known for NBC's "Outsourced," and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". In 2012, she was shortlisted as one of the top twenty two actors from the thousands that auditioned, to perform at the CBS Diversity Showcase. She was a also a part of the Producers Mentoring Program 2013 at 'Women in Film'. In 2015 Roopashree won the "Best Actress Award" at the California Women's Film Festival and also received "Best Actress/ Honorable Mention Award" at Asians on Film Festival. Philanthropically, Ms. Jeevaji is the International Envoy of 'Stop Acid Attacks', an NGO in India which focuses on prevention against acid violence and offers rehabilitation to the survivors.
