Son of Charles King, syndicator of "The Little Rascals", Roger King worked as a newspaper sales representative, radio station manager, host of a local late-night movie show in Florida and tv station sales manager.

Funeral service held at Donald J. Trump s Mar-a-Lago estate. The 500 guests included Rolonda Watts , Nancy Glass , Lara Spencer , Don Criqui , Nick Buoniconti , Art Ginsburg , Sumner Redstone , and Leslie Moonves. Trump, Moonves, Oprah Winfrey , Phil McGraw , and Deborah Norville delivered the eulogies. (13 December 2007).

CBS and King World Productions executive who brought Oprah Winfrey , Alex Trebek , Rachael Ray , Pat Sajak , Vanna White and Phil McGraw to television. At the time of his death, King oversaw all operations of CBS TV Distribution.

In what his old friends refer to as The Early Years (1974-1977), Roger and his brothers Bob and Michael commandeered TV Channel 51 WKID; where they broadcasted a Late Night TV Talk Show from Pirates World in Hollywood Florida. The Show interviewed celebrities that were passing through South Florida. The interviews were followed by King Worlds "The Little Rascals". The local commercials that were played were Produced by Bob King and Narrated by Musician turned Glamor Photographer Robert Demeo aka Jessie Eastland; a close friend of the King brothers during those years.
