Biography

A seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in the film and television industry, Robyn has worked in many aspects of production and proudly holds over 50 professional credits to her name. Robyn has co-produced & line produced numerous award winning feature films that have screened in festivals all over Canada and US. Some of those include the multi-award winning, Telefilm-funded feature, Lawrence & Holloman, the horror-thriller sensation, American Mary, the 'Bromance' comedy The Wingman and has line produced the celebrated feature film, Amazon Falls, & the presentation pilot, Kits and served on the Board of Directors from 2007. Working with William F White, she helped bring the Production Management Mentor program to WIFTV now entering it's third year. She is also an active mentor in the Vancouver film community, guest lectures at various functions & film schools, is a regular juror for the Leo Awards as well as several short script competitions giving back to the community and profession she loves so much. For this reason, she was the 2013 recipient of the Wayne Black Service Award presented by WIFTV during their annual Spotlight Awards. Robyn holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Winnipeg, is an Alumnus of full-time film studies program at Vancouver Film School, and is a former bursary recipient of the world-renowned Banff Centre for the Arts.

Recipient of the Irving Avrich Film Fund awarded by the Canadian TIFF programmers to attend TIFF 2014 as one of ten Canadian Emerging Filmmakers.

Nominated for a 2004 Leo Award for Best Music Video for "Accidental Kisses" by Dan Rothery.
