(January 2013) Rob leads Schmidt Peterson Motorsports after 16 years with Walker Racing where he enjoyed success as General Manager, Team Manager, Engineering Manager and as a Race Engineer. Rob engineered Alex Tagliani in 2005 in a Team Australia Champ Car and their mutual respect and friendship led to Rob becoming the first employee of Fazzt Race Team for the 2010 IndyCar season. Over the years Rob has consistently combined management and engineering roles and will do so again as General Manager and Technical Director for the team.
