Biography

Robert Dukes was born and raised in Loughborough, Leicestershire. The oldest of two brothers, both of whom went into acting, Robert moved to London in order to pursue his career. His work as an actor began on stage in musicals, culminating as Riff in 'West Side Story'. Since then, the majority of Robert's work has been film, both short and long form. 2017 see's Robert returning to the stage after almost 10 years away as part of the Stockwell Playhouse' 'One Act Festival'.

Robert has played the Trumpet since he was 8 years old, achieving Honours in grade 8 examination at 17 years old. He has performed in Orchestras and bands all over Europe, as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well as a tour of The Loire Valley in France. He also performed on Classic FM with the Leicester Schools Symphony Orchestra back in the early 2000s.
