Rita Raider was born in Lodz, Poland a city famous for internationally acclaimed Film school, which was a starting point of brilliant directors like Roman Polanski and Krzysztof Kieslowski just to name a few. She started her acting career at a very young age in Poland, mostly in theater. She studied Method Acting at prestigious Lee Strasberg Institute in New York City. During her school years, Rita appeared in acclaimed short independent films. Now still sticking to the East Coast, Rita is successfully pursuing artistic endeavors.
Short film "The White Heron" in which Rita Raider portrayed quirky, self involved wife was screened at short film corner Festival De Canned 2012, and collected great recognition. In addition it attracted attention of major channels who offered to purchase the witty comedy.
Rita speaks English, Polish, German and Russian.
