Ray Sefo is a semi-retired New Zealand kickboxer, boxer, mixed martial artist, fight promoter and former actor. He was born of Samoan descent on February 15, 1971 in Auckland, New Zealand. He is a six-time Muay Thai World Champion and eight time K-1 World Grand Prix Finals tournament participant. Sefo is the president of the MMA promotion World Series of Fighting. He made a brief run in acting, beginning in 1995 in an episode of _"Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" . Since retiring from mixed arts competitions in 2015, he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he continues to train out of Xtreme Couture Mixed Martial Arts.
He is a heavyweight kick boxer from New Zealand and currently fights for the K-1 fighting network who are based in Japan. He recently defeated ex-American footballer turned movie star Bob Sapp in a K-1 event.
