He was awarded the Laurence Olivier Theatre Award in 1991 (1990 season) for Best Comedy for "Out of Order".

His play, "Caught in the Net", performed at the Vaudeville Theatre in London, was nominated for a 2002 Laurence Olivier Theatre Award for Best New Comedy of 2001.
