Her son with her first husband, Armand Chapelle, was born on 21 December 1875 in Paris and died 30 June 1952 in New York City, unmarried and without issue, making him the eighth and last person to hold the titles Duke of Richelieu and of Fronsac and Marquis of Jumilhac.
Separated judicially on May 30, 1902 (Monaco) and June 3, 1902 (France) from Prince Albert. However, she retained the title Princess of Monaco until 26 June 1922, upon Alberts death.
