Biography

Hébert studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1836 to 1869. He was responsible for monuments for Toulouse, Orange, La Rochelle, and Carcassonne, to name a few. Hébert's statues of Louis de Rouvroy, Duc de Saint-Simon and of Jules, Cardinal Mazarin can be found on the Palais du Louvre in Paris.
