Biography

Actor Paul Ben-Victor has built a career on the small and big screen with rolls in over 60 films like Get Hard with Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell, Grudgematch with Robert De Niro, Daredevil with Ben Affleck, A Civil Action with John Travolta, The Rookie directed by Clint Eastwood, Houseguest, The Corrupter, Metro, and classics like True Romance and Tombstone to name a few. Paul recently starred alongside Jeffrey Wright and Jennifer Hudson in the feature, Monster and A Crooked Somebody with Ed Harris. Paul recurs on the new hit series The Mick for Fox TV, Preacher on AMC, and recently NBC's Chicago med. Paul has starred on several series most notably the widely acclaimed HBO hit, The Wire where he made a lasting impression with his quiet ruthlessness as the Greek henchmen Spiros Vondas. Also In Plain Sight, The Invisible Man, Everybody Hates Chris and recently Martin Scorsese's Vinyl for HBO. Paul has been a favorite on HBO with other stand out roles including Warner Brothers Studio Chief Alan Gray on Entourage, the commanding Major Leroy Salter on True Detective, the zany Palaka on John from Cincinnati, and scalping tickets on Curb Your Enthusiasm. He also received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Moe Howard in the ABC biopic The Three Stooges and shined as the enduring hustler Steve Richards on NYPD Blue. Paul is a member of the Actors Studio where he appeared on stage in Lyle Kessler's Robbers. Other productions of Robbers include the Seattle Repertory Theater directed by Daniel Sullivan, the Longwharf Theater and the American Place Theater both directed by Marshall Mason.
