Biography

Patrick Warburton is known to many for the role of "Puddy" in the hit NBC comedy "Seinfeld," the laconic, enigmatic, quirky Saab salesman and Elaine's boyfriend. Warburton starred for 7 seasons on the hit CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement" with David Spade, Oliver Hudson, and Megyn Price about two couples and their single friend, all at different stages in their relationships dealing with the complications of dating, commitment, and marriage. He is now set to star in NBC's newest sitcom series entitled "Crowded," premiering Sunday, March 20th, about an empty nest couple , Shane, and Gabriel. When talking about his children, Patrick's face lights up as he describes them as the ultimate joy and love of his life. With what little spare time he has, Patrick gets in a game of golf or tennis, does activities with his children, and spends time in his cabin on the Rogue River in Oregon with his family. Warburton also hosts the annual charity golf tournament The Warburton a Celebrity Tournament to benefit St. Jude Children's Hospital each year in Palm Springs, CA.

He plays a slave on a 17th-century Caribbean island whos sentenced to 100 lashes across his back for insubordination to his master. The lashes are delivered in the public square, are counted out by enthusiastic spectators, and from start to finish consume about 3 minutes and 50 seconds of screen time.

Is the namesake of the "Patrick Warburton Manliest Man Award" given by the Dallas, TX radio show "Pugs and Kelly" on 105.3 FM.

Attended Servite High School in Anaheim, California where he ran on the cross country team with Michael McDonald. He later transferred to Newport Harbor High School in Newport Beach, California, where he graduated in 1982.

Father of Talon Patrick , Alexandra Catherine , Shane and Gabriel (b. October 2000).

His father is of Irish, English, Alsatian German, Slovenian, and French descent. His mother is of German ancestry.

His father, Dr. John (Jack) Charles Warburton III (1935-2017), was an orthopedic surgeon.

Warburton appeared on the auto enthusiast show "Top Gear" and revealed to host Adam Ferrara that he owns/owned a previously wrecked Dodge Viper and a coveted 69 Dodge Charger R/T. He refers to them as Pamela and Angelina respectively.

He is currently living in Ventura County, California.
