Patrick McDonnell is a professionally trained actor and has twenty five plays to his credit from William Shakespeare to Anton Chekhov to Samuel Beckett. In 2002 he won the Dean Goodman Award" in the Bay Area for Best Supporting Actor in a play and "Second Round" in 2005 shot in San Francisco where he plays the lead role won two film festivals awards.
In 1996 he was a runner up at the So You Think Youre Funny Competition at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
