Biography

Patricia George was born Patricia Fliegelman and was the daughter of George J. Fliegelman Sr. And Ethel Fliegelman. She had a brother George J., II who was born December 6, 1936. Her father, who played basketball for the then New York Celtics using the name "Jigs Sullivan" was a lawyer, but was disbarred just after she began high school. Subsequently he and some investors bought some land and he provided for his wife, Patricia, and brother George, by selling it off as cemetery plots. During her childhood she and her family moved from Brooklyn to Pennsylvania and around Ohio. When she grew up, she moved to California to pursue her passion, in acting. She met Tony Miller, they married and in 1958 she became a mother to a son, Kevin Miller. Her choice of stage name turns out to be prescient, because as of today, there is a nephew, George J. III, and great nephew, George J. IV
