Biography

Niyi first began performing at home for family and friends . During his 8yrs. old birthday party, he broke his arm falling out of a tree, impersonating Peter Pan for party guests. He then continued with High School and University Theater. It was at Piedmont University, after playing the role of Peter Sloan in Moss Hart's "Light up the Sky" did he realize the immense interest he had for the stage. Upon graduating, he began working the southeast for any acting work he could get his his hands on. Trying to support himself with only the arts, he supplemented income by modeling for the likes of Guess, New Balance, and Gap to name a few. While on set with Samuel L.Jackson, Niyi asked the veteran Actor for any advice he could offer on furthering his own acting career. Mr. Jackson replied..."Absolutely,you should move to New York." He felt the source of such advice couldn't be ignored, and so shortly thereafter sold his car, belongings, and moved to New York City. Renting couches and temporary rooms, he first took a day job as a door man on the Upper East Side's Lexington Ave, while attended drama classes at night. He soon garnered supporting roles on network television, and began working in film. He has since moved to Los Angeles.
