Biography

Drummer, sound engineer, radio presenter. Nigel has been active in music for more than 30 years mainly as a drummer. As such he has worked with artists as diverse as Guy Chambers, Charlie Winston, Leo Green, Iain Ballamy, Geno Washington, Malcolm Ross, Robin Lumley, Jools Holland & Tony Hadley. Later moving into sound engineering he has worked with amongst many Roy Ayers, Tom Baxter, Kings of Convenience, London Community Gospel Choir, Ian Shaw, Dennis Davies, Hermeto Pascoal, Palle Mikkelborg and Theo Travis. As a radio presenter under the alias of Gil Legine, he has presented shows for firstly the legendary Radio Caroline and in recent times around the world for The Album Zone. He also for many years presented a live, twice monthly programme for Københavns Universitets Radioen (KUR) on 95.5 FM, in Denmark. Nigel relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark ten years ago to raise a family, but is now looking to re-emerge and once again grab the music world by it's wrinkled retainer.
