Nicole Steward was born in India and adopted into an American family by the age three. She never knew her birth parents' ethnicity, but her own remains the question she is most frequently asked. Raised in Wisconsin, her interest in acting started in grade school, even though she played a tree in her first production. In third grade she filled out a questionnaire that asked: what do you want to be when you grow up? She wrote an actor, but for many years didn't tell anyone. It has been her focus and passion ever since. In her early teens she sought out agents on her own after winning a local beauty contest, which she calls her turning point. It gave her confidence and hope at a time when she was seeking something positive. Luckily she landed her first agent interview and continues with this momentum and driven spirit. Nicole's early career began with numerous print ads for various agencies in the Midwest; while increasingly booking commercials, film and television. She relocated to Los Angeles soon after.
