Nathan is a former Captain in the United States Army and graduate of the USC MFA Production program, best known for his military-themed short films The Fog . Most recently, one of Nathan's feature screenplays, Man on the Mountain, also placed in the top 5% out of over 7,000 entries in this year's Academy Nicholl Fellowships. After graduating college at the top of his class and being ranked as the number-one ROTC cadet nationwide selected for the US Army Aviation Branch, Nathan served seven years on active duty as a helicopter pilot, having deployed into combat operations in Afghanistan. While in service, Nathan gained unparalleled life experience and excelled as a leader, receiving such accolades as the Bronze Star and an Air Medal with Valor Device. It is a personal mission of his to ensure the life-lessons and integrity he gained while in service, forever reflect in his creative endeavors.
