His greatest musical inspirations have been Ron Carter , Ray Brown , Quincy Jones , Charles Mingus , Buster Williams , Wayne Shorter , Cannonball Adderley , Jimi Hendrix , George Benson , Wes Montgomery , Herbie Hancock , Santana , etc.
