Biography

Nathalie Camidebach was born in the South-West of France and grew up between ocean and mountains. When she turns twenty she decides to move to Paris to study Dramatic Arts . Soon after she felt compelled to go behind the camera and join the most prestigious school La Sorbonne University in the directing program. Unsurprisingly, shortly after she writes and directs her first short film And If We Would Live Together... which was nominated for the Clap D'Or at The International Sens Film Festival. With dreams of Hollywood in her heart, a few scripts under her arms, she flies to Los Angeles, goes meeting after meeting while studying photography. She travels back and forth between LA and Paris and while in France self-published her first novel Fallen From The Nest in 2003, under her own publishing company. She promotes her novel all over France and obtains quite a success, promising reviews and interviews. Nathalie, craving for more adventure, flies to the island of St Martin in search of inspiration, writes another script while exposing her photos in Galleries all over the beautiful island.After a year she decides to go back to Los Angeles to shoot another short film Remember The Eyes with Marie Roux, her childhood friend... Today she shares her life between photography, writing and films projects surrounded by those she loves and as she likes to say It's a wonderful life
