Woundings is a futuristic film, but has no real time scale to it, set on a remote island after a war(which is loosely based on the Fauklands war), we have a group of British soldiers who are living amongst the islands local inhabitants, when the British government recruit young women to move there to start a new colony. The film is packed with action, adventure, love and romance, and some humour!!

A disappointment, I must say, since it's based on a play by Jeff Noon, one of my favourite writers. A psychedelic futurism is sought, with lots borrowed from A Clockwork Orange, but the weird photography doesn't quite fly and it does all get a bit stagey.

This was just weird Maybe something got wrong when they transformed it from play to manuscript for this didn't work at all.

Horrible. Terrible.
