I thought the movie plot was pretty solid, the filming quality & acting isn't bad at all. "Vicious Thunder" kinda echoes the feeling of those action/thrillers from 1970s made for TV cinema to having the vibe of those really good action flicks from the 1980s movies.
I watched the premiere when it was shown at the Anthony Wayne theater. I thought the blood effects were spectacular and very realistic.
I really liked this movie, not your run of the mill fare. Decent production overall, would recommend to anyone who likes action to give it a try.
As a child of the 1980's I have to say this little movie brings me back to the good old days of simple action! For a time period piece set in 1984, this movie has a lot working for it.
