Trying to move on with her life, a burgeoning writer finds that she must return to her childhood home and be with her sister to help her get better, but the longer they stay in the house the more they realize that lingering family secrets aren't the only things haunting them.For the most part, this one strikes a lot of positive points about it.
Slopped together quite carelessly, TWO SISTERS misses the opportunity to explore an interesting relationship between the title characters. It emerges as filler, duly issued as one half of the desultory double bill on Something Weird's Vol.
"Entre deux soeurs" or "Two Sisters" is a 1991 animated short film by Caroline Leaf. This one has its 25th anniversary this year and it is one of Oscar nominee Leaf's last works actually, so I guess you can say that the American filmmaker has retired by now.
Firstly, I do agree with many of the comments boblipton made regarding this film, but where I disagree, is I feel he hasn't related it to the quality of films made at this time. Albert Cappellani had a long career in silent films, though the time this film was made it was early in his career, so it was still rough around the edges.
