It seems like these guys film more of themselves and computer screen radar than any of the actual storms. And their last minute decisions to turn around and head to a "more severe storm" and then the original storm produces a tornado and they get nothing is annoying, I'm not sure they truly know what they're doing.
First off they never catch anything. secondly it seems like it's more about the characters and their computer screens than actually being face to face with a storm.
I'm a tornado fanatic and was very interested when I saw this show pop up! I watched every episode and grew more and more annoyed.
Of the multitude of chase teams with online followers and pursuing the 'money shots' - this crew is hands down the most sophomoric, annoying and downright uninteresting. There is no getting around that there is a lot of down time in the chase game and you are stuck with these guys calling each other 'dude', pranking each other and worst of all trying to talk 'seriously'.
I've always been somewhat interested in tornadoes growing up. So when I saw this show, I was interested since I always love to see storm chasers catch great footage of tornadoes.
Skip to the last episode for any good shots of Tornadoes. Watching any other episode will completely waste your precious time.
Don't watch if you want to see cool storms. Too much personal drama in my opinion and they never see any action .
If you're looking for video and epic scenes of people chasing tornados, this is NOT the show for you. I'm sure these guys would have liked nothing more than to catch up with some killer storms but it didn't happen until the VERY LAST episode.
I dont know if he thinks he's a proffessional storm photographer, especialy with how he acts but he seems to miss a lot of the money shots, unless he gets lucky while holding down the shutter butten to take 200-300 fast succession pictures, hoping he catches something before the room on his sd card runs out! And the other guy just seems to drive the car not much else, which is fine but dnt get atude to the only guy on the team that can actually do anything that brings in the money and keeps your fans logging on.
