Reviews

Elisted who call their NCO's Sir nonstop, no clue how military CoC works, no idea presented on basic squad-level infantry tactics, and an ending that has no basis in Army reality. Written by and for arthouse film fairies and their hipster brethren.

That's ridiculous to leave him like that.

Tye Sheridan, Toni Collette, Jason Patric and Jennifer Aniston.....(alden ehrenreich was just fantastic)There was some nice cinematography and they were able to blend together both the action and mystery elements together quite nicely, however some of the writing and editing choices were awkwardly done.

Don't recommend it. No clear story, lot's of military mistakes, some events were shown that didn't happen in Iraq or barely happened.

I agree with all the criticisms made in the user reviews. But my main problem with this film was the darkness of it.

Not a war film. But a film about war.

The Yellow Birds was directed by Alexandre Moors, written by David Lowery and R.F.

What really happened to Murphy was such a huge lame let down! Made absolutely no sense as to why they just got rid of the body after they found him.

This film tells the story of two young soldiers and their mothers, who are devastated by the war in different ways.It is a powerful anti war film, even though most of the time there is no blood and gore.
