Now that I have watched some of these, 50 years on from when they were originally made, it really is strictly for children only. We didn't have a TV in those days and given some of this garbage I have to be somewhat thankful.

The Time Tunnel was a far advanced show for it's time. I read a question that asked why did Tony and Doug travel to the Titanic on the last show.

The Time Tunnel series started off great. The earlier episodes (Titanic, Pearl Harbor, Krakatoa) we're compelling and interesting, mainly because they addressed actual historical events.

Of all the adventure programs of that era, "The Time Tunnel" has the greatest potential for combining entertainment with education alas, mostly unrealized. While the concept is sound and a few episodes may have prompted further reading by young viewers, the aliens were the "jumped the shark" moment for me.

The Time tunnel has some educational value . I first heard of at least two historical events The Titanic and the French Revolution among others.

Viewed from the 1960's this was an excellent series (I'm old enough to remember watching it first time round on a black and white TV). Views nowadays it's dated but nostalgic.

..All his TV series' were pap, low budget dross..

I watched this as kid in the 70's and it was great. I only saw 10 episodes but am now 40 years later I'm watching all 30 via streaming.

Enjoyed in the 60s and again in 2020.
