Reviews

The Three Faces of Eve is directed by Nunally Johnson who also adapts the screenplay from a book written by Corbett Thigpen and Hervey M. Cleckley.

Joanne Woodward won a best actress Academy Award for her memorable performance as Eve White, an unassuming and shy housewife who has been suffering from headaches and blackouts. When she sees a psychiatrist(played by Lee J.

I'm certainly no psychiatrist and I would never, ever say that I knew a hill of beans about something like Multiple Personality Disorder (M.P.

I was not expecting this film to be this good! Didn't know anything about the film before I started watching it and what a pleasant surprise it was!

This is a great movie.

Joanne Woodward deserved every bit of the oscar award she received for her performance on this film! Her acting was spectacular as you saw her transform before your eyes into three different people, playing her role with beautiful talent.

Based on a true story, this film looks at the case of woman with multiple personality disorder. Woodward, in only her third film and her first lead role, won an Oscar and became a star with her fine performance here.

I am ashamed that there are such strong opinions about the falsehood of Disassociative Identity Disorder. The fact that it is in the DSMIV and STILL disbelieved is disgusting!

Joanne Woodward gives a really great performance. One could even say that she gives three great performances.
