I was almost 15 minutes in and still couldn't tell what the hell was going on or what the movie was about, it seemed like there wasn't going to be any story what so ever, there was no cohesion between the scenes, it was impossible to follow, the main actress seemed to be playing multiple roles and it didn't say why...so I turned it off.
Allred is jack of all trades and master of none. Well, not exactly none, there is evident mastery of shilling...
Texture of falling is absolutely intriguing. A romantic thriller that depicts the lives of two complelling couples struggling with rejection, hearbreak, and pain.
This movie is just like Portland. It's weird and quirky.
I highly recommend giving this movie the benefit of the doubt, in two contexts... 1) The film: Watch it.
A love story with feel good vibes and amazing quality and great characters in this movie. Stunning cinematography and dialogue.
I enjoyed this film. Even if you don't understand at first glance what is going on, it is enough to just engage with the emotional texture - such as joy, grief and pain - in 'The Texture of Falling'.
Don't do it as a favour to me, you don't know me, you don't owe me. Do it as a favour to yourself and avoid like the plague.
I have had a sincere longing to go back to Portland, Oregon since me and my family moved away in 2006. Watching this film I can now totally remember why it didn't seem like a big deal at the time.
