Reviews

There is always hope! Let it out!

I was looking for another movie with the same title, and the only movie that was reviewed was this one-,so, o.k..

Fulfilled the old show biz adage often attributed to PT Barnum:Always leave them wanting more.

This movie isn't for everyone, as you can see by some of the ratings. However, there is a market for quiet films too.

I watched this in 2020 after the tragic death of Harry Hains. After his death he was constantly listed as 'Guest star on American Horror story.

I read about the story before watching the movie. It reminded me a movie I really liked, Against The Sun, about three soldiers trying to survive on a lifeboat after their bombardier crashed into the ocean.

The story line had the potential to be a great action and adventure movie. That's what I thought I was buying, but it turned out to be a little too Hemmingway-esque for me.

Depressed young man Mitch (an excellent performance by Sean Astin) and hot-tempered pilot Kelly (well played by Chris Mulkey in a rare meaty lead) find themselves stuck together on a boat in the middle of Lake Michigan. The two must work together to keep each other alive.

I was starting to watch Martin Scorsese's star-studded Hollywood blockbuster_The Departed_, and I turned it off after about 30 minutes. I was sick of all the tough guy talk and violence.
