Six years after his prize Mod Squad broke up someone is taking potshots at Tige Andrews. The LAPD chief Simon Scott thinks it has something to do with one of the many busts his cops on a soul beat as the phrase went back in the day so he calls the group back together.
I re-watched this TV movie last night. It was the first time in almost 30 years, since I've seen it.
Return of the Mod Squad (1979) was a made-for-t.v.
I have been waiting for someone else to pick up on the chemistry between them-especially for Pete! It was evident throughout the series in various, often subtle, moments but this reunion, for me, echoed it loud and clear.
The original show might have been dated, but it's still fun to watch. However, this reunion is a big disappointment.
