Greetings again from the darkness. It has been said that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

So I'm the kind of guy who normally watches horror films like they way most people watch comedies, but this one legit kept me up all night shivering cause I couldn't get it out of my head, it was so creepy. I'm not going to get into any plot or setting details there are two reviews that do that, but if you want a real scare then go ahead and watch this, otherwise leave it alone.

I was primed to enjoy this at the festival but left feeling uncomfortable. The narrator was creepy and the main character was funny but boring.

The monster look was pretty well done. It would be awesome if the monster would come back for a sequel or a pre sequel.

I loved it, great heartwarming comedy, very watchable with likable characters and subtle observational humour. Similar vibe to The office, Derek and Gavin and Stacey, in that there is depth, drama and pathos; as well as laugh out loud.

I heard only a little bit about this show before it started, I'm not sure if I saw a trailer, it was obvious it was going to be a small programme that may gain a little success, but after the first episode I was willing to stick with it because of the genius of its simplicity. Basically Martin Hurdle (Very Important People's Terry Mynott) is an ordinary guy working a terrible job as a cleaner, but he has a rather extraordinary hidden talent, he has the ability to mimic various male celebrities, in old and recent culture, and in his spare time he cannot help himself but to do these impression in his daily life at almost any time.

A lot of horror packed into a couple minutes, The Mimic delivers big time. A family has just moved into a new house and the voice of a little boy keeps asking the father to let him sleep in their bed.
