I did not expect this film to be so good! It really portrays the sense of community, tradition and most of all, love for culture and heritage.
Thoroughly enjoyed this film. A little predictable maybe but on this horribly wet, windy miserable afternoon, it was just the job!
The engaging story of Cornish fisherman who take a chance to find fame and maybe fortune while managing to not lose themselves or their traditional way of life in the process. Great character actors combined with a genuinely engaging score featuring Fisherman's Friends songs make this "based on a true story" movie a pleasure to watch.
Wasn't expecting much but breathtaking shots of the beautiful Cornish coast, very believable characters, great storyline and some great acting. A special mention of James Purefoys great acting.

I'm American and I really enjoyed the movie for the most part. I like European TV & Movies, so this was a fun watch, as I think the sea shanties have a mass appeal like is stated during the movie.
