When the Lone Man travels from Madrid to Sevilla, he enters a S 100 AVE train set.

But the interior shots are clearly done in a S 103 (Velaro E), a totally different - and much newer - type of train.

When the Lone Man has passed the last picture in the museum during his first visit, the camera can be seen slightly reflected in the glass of the picture frame.

Reviews

Some reviewers have commented that the film moves too slowly. Assassinations usually do.

For hardcore cinephiles who seek art movies here is a visual, cerebral and musical feast. After seeing a lot of negative reviews on this absolutely fascinating creation I feel that if one is patient enough to sit through the great, carefully planned wonderful visuals accompanied by a mystique sound track another spectrum unravels before you and the message is crystal clear.

The overarching concept for me during this viewing was that of optical illusions. There are several moments in the film where my eyes literally lost focus for a moment or blended into the surroundings of the Lone Man, which distorted the actual image of him in my mind.

...since most people don't.

Just don't. Spend your time sleeping, meet your friends or just stare at empty wall.

... a waste of time.

Well, unfortunately I saw this film in a theater, so yes, I paid money for it. I think this is the worst film I ever saw.

Jim Jarmusch has been described as America's coolest director and as America's most iconic art-house film maker and "The Limits of Control" is indeed a sublime synthesis of art, psychology and cool.Isaach De Bankole plays an inscrutable but stylish hit man following a trail of instructions that lead inexorably to his target played by a dapper Bill Murray, The instructions are delivered vignette style by an equally cool and eclectic supporting cast that includes Tilda Swinton and John Hurt whose last film together was Don Boyd's "Aria" and who both lend this film considerable art-house kudos not to mention a little cinematic magic.

I was thinking that this was the abstract baby Lost in Translation and The American had, and just like that Bill Murray eventually makes an appearance. The way he looked at the skull on his desk really made me smile.
