Antonio Banderas stars as Ned, a detective who has just acquired a new client. A giant man with anger issues who is looking for the love of his life, a sexy woman whom he's never met.

Direct to Video or B movies used to mean a bad story, b or c list stars, and mediocre action/horror/effects. The 1970's, 1980's, and the early 1990's were the hay day for these kinds of films.

Not the best film I've ever seen, but definitely worth watching(in my fav list of random weird original flicks). Good mix of themes...

I was looking forward to seeing this movie as I am am usually impressed by Banderas and Neil as actors. Visually the film is impressive too with a fascinating twist on 'film noir' genre as the movie is shot in colour and not B&W.

Ugh what a odd disjointed film. Antonio banderas has such poor diction I couldn't understand him.

This movie is such a blatant ripoff of Murder, My Sweet (1944) a great film based on Raymond Chandler's Farewell, My Lovely. And nowhere in any of the film's info is Chandler even mentioned.

I stumbled upon this film today on cable and was immediately drawn in by Tony Sirico's segments. He was about 45 when this was filmed and his hair looked nothing like the Wing Man; Paulie Walnuts, but rather it was slicked back ala Goodfellahs and his voice was so COMPLETELY different from Paulie I was amazed!

I'm not quite sure how to rate this movie. It's very well made, with excellent (if somewhat typecast) acting from all involved.

I loved everything about this movie, from the opening sequence to the end... fabulous.
