When Sandy is leaving the kitchen to go swimming, as in some other similar shots, the door which supposedly leads outside obviously opens to a studio interior.

This is also the reason why the kitchen windows are always curtained, and the outside view is never visible through them.

On some occasions, especially when Duke attacks Carol, we hear it bark but its mouth stays closed.

Reviews

This is without a doubt one of the lowest-budget films you will probably ever see. This fact shows itself in many ways.

What an odd little movie. This is one of the earliest Roger Corman films, and I would recommend it only if you are a hardcore, dedicated Corman fan.

The awfullest movie I have yet seen- Barely any plot, acting made to get you running for the Pepto Bismol and a deaf blind and dumb 3 year old would do a better job at the technical side of this "movie"-however it was so damned funny it had me rolling on the floor. If you want a film technically made for "real" but is so awfully unreal, this one is for you.

I'll bet you dollars to donuts that Alfred Hitchcock got his idea for "The Birds" from this odd movie. With birds and chickens attacking people.

Maybe a little bait and switch going on with the title? I didn't see any beast to speak of, and the million eyes?

The Beast with a Million Eyes (1955) is a science-fiction movie about the arrival of an extra-terrestrial who is able to see through the eyes of the many creatures it takes control of. The alien uses them to threaten a dysfunctional family that owns an isolated date farm in the California desert.

THE BEAST WITH A MILLION EYES is a small brilliant no budget film. It's probably the first existential science fiction film ever made.

*Spoiler/plot- The Beast with A Million Eyes, 1955. In the desert ranch, strange occurrences with local animals and family pets happens after a strange spacecraft lands during the night.

Okay, first the good news. An interesting premise.
