Simon West has gone a long way downhill since the excellent Con-Air.Stratton is boring and slow paced.
I see a lot of decent, action-packed movies with humour, style, good, fast pace getting really lousy ratings, just like this one. I usually wonder if the reviewers saw the same movie, or wonder if they have an agenda, to pull down the rating, something like that.
Some glitches but give me London. good looking men and some action and I was adequately entertained.
I haven't read the novels. The idea might not be too bad and it could've been just another espionage action/thriller movie.
I'm not far into this show, and it might be good for killing time. However, I'm not sure I can get past Connie Nielson's accent.
The trailers looked pretty good, so I decided to give it a go. Found it to be very slow going, action is OK but have seen alot better.
Enjoyed this more than I expected to. I've read the authors autobiography (Duncan Falconer) so was intrigued to see his fictional Stratton brought to life.
I really liked this. Short, sharp good action and workable plot.
