Barack Obama might had been the first black president of the USA. That does not mean there is a ready audience to see his first date with the woman who would become his wife.

People wanted this film to succeed, but it came off as slow and dull.Is the movie to blame for that fault?

If you're looking for entertaining date ideas or even an entertaining date movie, this is not it. Yes, this movie does have historical significance since it tells the story of a former President and his now wife's first date.

The film is about the "first date" of Michelle Robinson (Tika Sumpter) and her underling Barrack Obama (Parker Sawyers) although I suspect it went nothing like this. What the film does is to give us the family history of the two candidates and a look into their character, mostly good, and only a little critical.

Fantastic actors. Obama was portraid really good.
