Immediately after the film I was a bit disoriented, then I understood why: the category 'noire/horror' is not correct for this movie, it limits and hides its meaning; the film is not just a 'noire', it is instead a cry, a rebellion, a denunciation of some of the most unbearable social injustice and violence (I don't refer only to the exploitation of feminine body but also to the impossibility to live as an artist).
