Reviews

Yes, this is not the best film, but Robert Duvall and Sissy Spacek are extraordinary. The glimpse of their talent is a gift.

I almost didn't watch this film when I saw the title on the on-screen guide, and to be perfectly honest, after sitting thru the whole movie I'm still not sure what the title means, but boy, am I glad I didn't let the title stop me from seeing this wonderful story.Robert Duvall plays the main character, Felix Bush, and I can't think of anyone who might have played it better.

So I watched 2009's funeral flick "get low", starring two greats Robert Duvall and one of my personal favorites Bill "mother trucking" Murray. So was it good, I say yes indeedy do.

Robert Duvall does a great job in this as usual. He's been missing from films as of late, and I don't know why.

Man tut dem Film unrecht, ihn als flach zu beschreiben. Die Figuren sind klar gesetzt.

The main reason I was looking forward to Get Low was the presence of two of my favorite actors, Bill Murray and Robert Duvall. I was disappointed, though, when I found no meaningful interaction between them on-screen.

I hadn't even heard of this film, but basically, anytime I see Robert Duvall show up in a film , I choose to give him a chance, because he's almost certainly got something interesting to deliver. So, for him to surface in something, and then for Bill Murray and the wonderful Sissy Spacek to be attached to it as well, it had to be worth my time.

Felix Bush (Robert Duvall) lives with a mule, a shotgun and his secrets. He didn't like the way people talked about a friend at his funeral, so he decides to stage his own before he dies and invites everyone to come and tell their stories about him.

After watching the quirky Julia Stiles's Comedy It's A Disaster,I decided to take a look at what other movie were about to be taken off Netflix UK.Being Impressed by Robert Duvall's role in The Judge, and having always enjoyed Bill Murray,I decided to find out how low things could go.
