Pawn Shop Chronicles

This is the first time I write a review for a movie, not that this movie needs one. But it deserves it.

Because I like and trust many of the well known actors in this film, I really wanted it to be good. It was so far from good that I can barely write this review.

"The Cooler" director Wayne Kramer's "Pawn Shop Chronicles" is the latest in a string of movies about a bunch of people who don't necessarily meet but have a connection. And it's a really crazy movie at that.

This movie started out great i was laughing my ass off at the first story but then the next two just went down hill from there. I wish they would have made the whole movie about the mishaps of the first story.

I gave it 2 because there are some funny moments but moments do not make a good film nor even a relatively interesting one. Kramer is showing us his very own rather disjointed comprehension of reality.

I rated it so high people, I know, let me explain. I thought the movie followed a format, such as when one scene starts, it just keeps going and going....

This gets a 6 out of 10 for extreme weirdness and confusion.I laughed.

There are tons of movies coming straight to video with all-star ensemble casts these days as opposed to getting theatrical releases. More often than not it is pretty obvious why, but others are just so out there they probably wouldn't connect with the average viewer, but still make for some great entertainment.

This was a muddled mess from start to finish, even roping some fine actors to the project failed to raise this dross from the awful to the mediocre.Skip this movie!
