I don't understand why people are so hard on this short, I actually thought this was one of the better Stooge shorts featuring Joe Besser, the short had a good cast (Emil Sitka, Phillip Van Zandt, Gene Roth, Harriette Tarler), a decent script and some funny moments such as the dinner table scene, them freeing Emil Sitka's character, Larry & Joe being scared of the zombie while Moe thought they were playing charades and Larry accidentally hitting Moe in the head with a hammer and then Moe rubbing a wooden sander on Larry's head, watch Larry's facial reactions to him getting his head rubbed by a wooden sander! IMO that scene is up there with some of the best moments in Stooge history.

In the start Larry have a quick endorsement for the movie "Pal Joey" .

Thats it. Now it will be pretty easy to locate.

Combine a poor script, whiny Joe Besser, a tired Moe and Larry, almost no budget, plus some really substandard gags, and you get "Outer Space Jitters". I really didn't think any Three Stooges film could be worse than "Sweet and Hot" or "Sappy Bullfighters", but I was wrong.

For a long time I'd heard about how bad all the Joe Besser-era Stooge shorts were. So when I finally got around to seeing some of them, I approached them with low expectations.

...but a young Dan Blocker plays a monster here.

This is one of the worst Besser shorts there is. The jokes are stupid and corny.

The Three Stooges has always been some of the many actors that I have loved. I love just about every one of the shorts that they have made.

The stooges are launched into space, land on a distant planet and (after the usual stooge shennanigans, save the world from alien zombies (a young dan "hoss" blocker") The only reason i give this movie a 1 is because that is as low as the ratings go. The stooges in space can be a funny idea, but to pull it off you need THREE stooges, not 2 and the very unfunny Joe Besser.
