During the scene where Rogan is accusing the Indian mall worker of being the streaker as he massages lotion into a high school chick, you notice as they are going back and forth saying "f*** you" there is a woman pushing a stroller in the right background by the kiosk who disappears and reappears while they are cursing at each other.

When Ronnie is doing his monologue in the background when he's looking at himself in the mirror (right after the bench press scene), it is obvious there is a different person looking into the bogus mirror because his body movements are not consistent with his reflection.

When the pervert is running towards Brandi and Ronnie comes from behind and shoots him, Ronnie's hand goes down to his side after the gunshot.

In the next frame, you see the gun raised back up again.

When Brandi is driving her car right before the pervert assaults her at the parking area, you can clearly see the spoiler move.

When Brandi and Detective Harrison are having sex in his car, Detective Harrison repeatedly says the name Mandy instead of Brandi.

When Ronnie is cornered by the crack heads, the actor playing the second-to-last man he strikes with the baton changes between shots.

In one shot, he is an African-American in a gray shirt.

In the shot in which he is struck, he is clearly a Caucasian wearing the same clothes with gray hair and facial hair.

When Ronnie takes Brandy out to eat, he offers her his medication, when he holds it out the bottle is first shown upside down, then when the camera angle changes to show him taking them the bottle is now right side up.

When Ronnie is offered cocaine by a kid, he says it's a schedule 1 narcotic.

It's actually a schedule 2 narcotic.

Reviews

Commedia senza pretese ma che si lascia guardare: niente risata facile, anzi in alcuni punti vira un pò sul melodrammatico. imprinting canadese, ma mi ha fatto rivalutare Ronnie Barnhardt, molto bravo nel suo ruolo!

Alright, first off some people don't know how to rate on IMDb. They let their emotions take over the professional side of rating and reviewing a film.

An anonymous flasher exposes himself to shoppers in the Forest Ridge Mall parking lot. The head of mall security, Ronnie Barnhardt (Seth Rogen), makes it his mission to catch the flasher.

Halfway through the movie I was speechless...by the end of the movie I was compelled to speak so others wouldn't have to go through any part of this movie.

This isn't the worst movie I've ever seen, but it's pretty bad. I am by no means a Seth Rogen hater, I enjoy his performances in many movies (Pineapple Express, Knocked Up, and Superbad, to name a few).

Halfway in to "Observe and Report", having just found out that Seth Rogen isn't going to achieve his dream job of Police Officer (having failed the psychological part of the exam), a man reveals himself from the closet (hiding in there to get a cheap laugh out of Rogen's failure) and says: "I thought this was going to be kinda funny, but, it's actually kind of sad". It's too bad the makers of this film didn't take that line out because it gives reviewers like myself a perfect tagline to sum up the whole film.

An extremely outrageous inappropriate film filled with profanity and crude remarks plus an incredible soundtrack! I absolutely love Seth Rogen throughout, oddly enough I have appreciated Observe and Report since before it even came out I was obsessed with the trailer.

(Flash Review)Was this a character study of a self-absorbed doofus...? The wild and zany (yep, I used 'zany') ride kicks off with 'the head of mall security', who thinks he is waaaaay more important than he is, attempting to track down a flasher who disrupts the daily routine of the shoppers and store employees.

Observe and Report. No, it is not a ripoff of Paul Blart: Mall Cop, lets get that out of the way right now.
